After Cristiano Ronaldo left the team, Manchester United’s next move was made public.
Ronaldo’s contract will be terminated with immediate effect, Man United said in a statement on Tuesday night.
Prior to the January transfer window, Ronaldo is a free agent and can join any team.
Romano also disclosed that by ending Ronaldo’s contract, Man United saved about £17 million.
On Wednesday morning, Romano posted the following on Twitter:
“Plan was to invest in a new striker in July, but Man Utd are now already exploring the market to find a solution in January.
Ronaldo is currently competing for Portugal in the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.
